E’ prevista per il 21 gennaio l’uscita di “A Companion to Byzantine Italy”, a cura di Salvatore Cosentino (Serie Brill’s Companions to the Byzantine World, Volume 8).

Il volume offre una raccolta di saggi mirata a fornire una panoramica critica delle ricerche in corso sulle regioni italiane che furono sotto il dominio bizantino, incentrandosi sugli aspetti politici, istituzionali, economici, sociali, culturali, e ambientali.

L’approccio metodologico del volume combina la storia con l’archeologia e la storia dell’arte, fornendo una sintesi fresca e aggiornata utile sia per specialisti che per studenti.
